Gamma (media company)


Gamma is an American media company founded in 2023 by former Apple executive Larry Jackson and record executive Ike Youssef. Described as a competitor to major labels, the company uses the technology platform Vydia to distribute music directly to streaming services. Upon its launch in March of that year, the company's initial artists included Usher, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg, and later Sexyy Red and French Montana. Jackson founded the company with US$1 billion in start-up capital with investment from billionaires including Todd Boehly, with "particular and " focus on Black culture. In addition, the label also distributes older releases for Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound.

Kanye West signing, new album, ''Bully''

In January 2026, Gamma signed Kanye West ahead of the anticipated release of his next album release, Bully on March 20. Founder Larry Jackson engineered the seven-figure distribution deal with a belief that West was committed to more positive messaging.
