Station layout

This station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks, connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station is unattended.

History

The station opened 1 January 1920 as part of the Ome Electric Railway. The Ome Electric Railway　was nationalized on 1 April 1944, and absorbed into the Japanese National Railways. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
