List of spouses of Vietnamese presidents

This is a list of spouses of the presidents of Vietnam. The position is sometimes informally called First Lady of Vietnam, however this position was never established as an actual office. The most prominent and highest position in Vietnam is the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the spouse of the officeholder is considered the authentic First Lady of Vietnam.
There have been 12 people holding this title since 1969. the current spouse of the president since October 2024 is Nguyễn Thị Minh Nguyệt, the wife of incumbent President Lương Cường.

Role and duties

The role of the president's spouse is not an official position, and so they are not given a salary or official duties. Nonetheless, the spouse usually participates in humanitarian and charitable work, and accompanies the president in state visits and entertaining foreign leaders.
