Elkhorn National Forest
Elkhorn National Forest was a protected area of Montana with. It was originally established as the Elkhorn Forest Reserve on May 12, 1905, and became a National Forest on March 4, 1907. On July 1, 1908, it was combined with Helena National Forest and the name was discontinued; It was then—as a part of the Helena National Forest—subsequently combined into the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest.
