Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania
Ehrenfeld is a borough in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 228 at the 2010 census. It once was nicknamed "Scooptown". There is also Ehrenfeld and Neuehrenfeld a district of Cologne, Germany.
Geography
Ehrenfeld is located in south-central Cambria County at, in the valley of the Little Conemaugh River. It is bordered to the east by the borough of Summerhill and to the southwest by the borough of South Fork. U.S. Route 219 passes through the eastern part of Ehrenfeld, with access from one exit. US 219 leads north to Ebensburg, the county seat, and southwest to Somerset. Johnstown, the largest city in Cambria County, is to the southwest via US 219 and Pennsylvania Route 56.According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough of Ehrenfeld has a total area of, of which is land and, or 2.98%, is water.
