Effects of vowel length and syllable structure on segment duration in Dutch

Effects of vowel length and syllable structure on segment duration in Dutch is a scholarly work by Allard Jongman, published in 1998 in ''Journal of Phonetics''. The main subjects of the publication include Spoken dialog system, linguistics, sociolinguistics, audiology, relative articulation, consonant, speech perception, vowel length, mid vowel, syllable, vowel, mathematics, length, and speech recognition. Results from Experiment 2 indicated that the duration of the intervocalic consonant is not affected by the quantity of the preceding vowel or its differential status as a tautosyllabic or ambisyllabic consonant.
