Ed Mieszkowski
Edward Thomas Mieszkowski was an American football tackle who played two seasons with the Brooklyn Dodgers of the All-America Football Conference. He was selected by the Boston Yanks in the seventh round of the 1946 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame and attended Tilden [High School (Chicago)|Tilden High School] in Chicago, Illinois.

Mieszkowski played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 1943 to 1945. He played in the 1946 College All-Star Game against the Los Angeles Rams.Professional career
Mieszkowski was selected by the Boston Yanks with the 52nd pick in the 1946 NFL Draft.He played in 23 games, starting seven, for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1946 to 1947.
