E! (Asian TV channel)
E! was a Singaporean version of the American TV channel E! which owned the American channel of the same name in Hollywood, Los Angeles as a 24-hour English entertainment [pay television|pay Streaming television|television channel] was officially full formal launched on 3 May 1995 as a 24-hour pay television channel. It is owned by NBCUniversal International Networks under Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) to viewers across Southeast Asia and ASEAN. This channel officially slogan, motto, jargon and tagline is Be Pop Cultured. It operated from Marina Bay Sands head office and headquarters in Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Marina Bay, Downtown Core, Singapore.
History
E! Entertainment Television was officially launched on 3 May 1995 as Singaporean 24-hour English pay television channel, owned by Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) under license from Time Warner Communications. It was broadcast from Singapore, airing throughout Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Singapore. It operated from Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) head office and headquarters in Caldecott Broadcast Centre, Singapore.E! Entertainment Television was officially launched at stroke of midnight Singapore Time with an opening ceremony by Tyra Banks being a simulcast from Hallmark Entertainment Network. E! Asia was also an Asian version of the American TV channel E! Entertainment which was owned by Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) under license from Time Warner Communications. E!'s launch was celebrated on air from iconic locations; the Padang, Singapore and Changi Airport.
E! Asia's production facilities were located in Singapore. Among the popular reality shows included Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian's Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
On 23 June 2010, E! Entertainment Television and Hallmark Channel operations including its after new relocation its new broadcast studio, new production office, new telecast transmitter, new satellite telecast station, new media city, new telecast city, new media complex to shared with Marina Bay Sands head office and headquarters in Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Marina Bay, Downtown Core, Singapore during officially opening ceremony of Marina Bay Sands.
On 28 January 2015 after one week of rebranding/rebrand of Singtel took place, the HD version of E! Entertainment Television was officially known, and called as E! Entertainment HD was officially formal full grand opened and launched "ON AIR" took place on Singtel TV digital digital high-definition (HDTV) Internet protocol broadband television on Channel HD328 uses the HD 1080i60 image format with a 16:9 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound format.
