Direct visualization of protein interactions in plant cells

Direct visualization of protein interactions in plant cells is a scholarly work, published in 2001 in ''Nature Biotechnology''. The main subjects of the publication include complementation, salicylic acid, cell biology, protein-fragment complementation assay, plant pathology, protein-protein interaction, Leucine zipper, NPR1, biology, visualization, Rhizobia, chemistry, Arabidopsis, transcription factor, systemic acquired resistance, Bimolecular fluorescence complementation, biochemistry, and plant disease resistance. The authors report here an in vivo protein fragment complementation assay (PCA), based on association of reconstituted murine dihydrofolate reductase (mDHFR) with a fluorescent probe to detect protein-protein interaction in planta.
