Crowding is size and eccentricity dependent
Crowding is size and eccentricity dependent is a scholarly work, published in 2011 in ''Journal of Vision''. The main subjects of the publication include mathematics, optics, visual perception, eccentricity, executive functions, peripheral vision, visual field, fixation, scaling, psychophysics, statistics, computer science, fovea centralis, visual crowding, psychometric function, and stimulus. Using a novel double-scaling procedure, authors show that the non-foveal data in all three tasks can be characterized as shifted versions of the same psychometric function such that different sections of the function characterize data at each eccentricity.
