Cup of the Alps
Coppa delle Alpi was an official football tournament, first organized by the Italian national league in 1960, aided by the Swiss League from 1962, running from 1960 until 1987.
In the 1960s and 1961 editions ranking was compiled by adding the points of the Italian and Swiss teams. The tournament was won by the Italian federation in both editions, and the teams that represented it was given a cup of reduced dimensions.
