Chōji

Chōji was a Japanese era name after Kōwa and before Kajō. This period spanned the years from February 1104 through April 1106. The reigning emperor was Emperor Horikawa-tennō.

January 30, 1104 Chōji gannen: The new era name was created to mark an event or series of events. The previous era ended and the new one commenced in Kōwa 6, on the 10th day of the 2nd month.
