Academics

There are various programs under any disciplines:-
CMR University hosts academic initiatives and industry-linked programmes related to emerging technologies and innovation. In May 2023, CMR University hosted a global open innovation challenge focused on urban sustainability, bringing together international participants and researchers. In July 2025, CMR University hosted the launch of the India chapter of the Global Design Thinking Alliance, bringing together design-thinking leaders from academia and industry. In September 2025, CMR University launched new undergraduate programmes and a DGCA-certified drone pilot training initiative at its Bengaluru campus.
