Bavispe Municipality
Bavispe is a municipality in the state of Sonora in north-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 1,723 km2.
Demographics
In 2010, the municipality had a total population of 1,454. The municipality has 12 localities, the largest of which were: Bavispe, classified as urban; and San Miguelito, La Mora, La Galerita, La Vega Azul, Oaxaca, Los Caballos, La Galera, Tasabiri, El Fuste and Las Cuevas, classified as rural.By the time of the 2020 Census, the municipality's population had fallen to 1,169.
