August Kiuru


August Kiuru was a Finnish cross-country [skiing (sport)|cross-country skier] who competed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. He won two silver medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1948 Winter Olympics and the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Kiuru also won three medals in the FIS Nordic [World Ski Championships] with a gold in the 4 × 10 km relay, a silver in the 4 × 10 km relay and a bronze in the 15 km.
