Arataki is a suburb of Tauranga, in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island.

Demographics
Arataki covers and had an estimated population of as of with a population density of people per km2.Arataki had a population of 6,264 in the 2023 New Zealand census, an increase of 315 people since the 2018 census, and an increase of 648 people since the 2013 census. There were 2,985 males, 3,264 females, and 18 people of other genders in 2,295 dwellings. 2.7% of people identified as LGBTIQ+. There were 1,146 people aged under 15 years, 1,173 aged 15 to 29, 2,817 aged 30 to 64, and 1,122 aged 65 or older.
People could identify as more than one ethnicity. The results were 80.3% European ; 21.6% Māori; 3.0% Pasifika; 5.9% Asian; 3.4% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders ; and 1.6% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander". English was spoken by 96.7%, Māori by 4.8%, Samoan by 0.4%, and other languages by 10.7%. No language could be spoken by 2.2%. New Zealand Sign Language was known by 0.4%. The percentage of people born overseas was 22.4, compared with 28.8% nationally.
Religious affiliations were 29.5% Christian, 0.9% Hindu, 0.2% Islam, 1.8% Māori religious beliefs, 0.5% Buddhist, 0.3% New Age, 0.1% Jewish, and 1.7% other religions. People who answered that they had no religion were 58.6%, and 6.3% of people did not answer the census question.
Of those at least 15 years old, 1,392 people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 2,550 had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 1,176 people exclusively held high school qualifications. 624 people earned over $100,000 compared to 12.1% nationally. The employment status of those at least 15 was 2,631 full-time, 690 part-time, and 150 unemployed.
