An overlap-based human gait cycle detection is a scholarly work, published in 2019 in ''International Journal of Biometrics''. The main subjects of the publication include animal gait, gait analysis, bipedal gait cycle, pattern recognition, biometrics, silhouette, computer science, artificial intelligence, feature, diabetic foot ulcer, identification, and computer vision. The results obtained shows that gait cycle can be easily and efficiently detected with zero-crossing count of silhouette frames.
