Amri Shikhsaidov

Amri Shikhsaidov (20 March 1928 – 21 September 2019) is a Soviet-Russian orientalist, historian, Islamicist, and university teacher. He was born in Derbent. He died in Makhachkala.

He was educated at Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University. This person's employers include Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography. Awards received include Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Order of Friendship, Jubilee Medal "50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", and Honoured Science Worker of the Russian Federation.
