Abgarm District

Abgarm District is in Avaj County, Qazvin province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Abgarm.

History

In 2012, the district was separated from Buin Zahra County in the establishment of Avaj County.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 15,823 in 4,130 households. The following census in 2011 counted 16,936 people in 5,165 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 18,265 inhabitants in 5,833 households.
