Abdi Kusow
Abdi Mohamed Kusow is a Somali scholar and writer.
He studied at Michigan State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1990. Kusow later earned a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1992. He also holds a Ph. D. in sociology from Wayne State University.
Kusow is a professor of sociology at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.
He is also a founder of the University of Southern Somalia.
