Deadliest crash
Across all airline operations globally, there were 12 fatal accidents resulting in 229 fatalities in 2022.Accounting for more than half of those, the deadliest crash of this year was China Eastern Airlines Flight 5735, a Boeing 737 which crashed in Teng County, China, on 21 March, killing all 132 people on board.
