2009 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour


The 2009 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was the 25th season of the Whelen Modified Tour. It began with the Icebreaker 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 5. It ended with the World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson again on October 25. Ted Christopher entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Donny Lia won the 2009 championship after 13 races, 16 points ahead of Ryan Preece.
