1950 All-America college football team
The 1950 All-America college football team is composed of college football players who were selected as All-Americans by various organizations and writers that chose All-America college football teams in 1950. The eight selectors recognized by the NCAA as "official" for the 1950 season are the All-America Board, the American Football Coaches Association, the Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of America, the International News Service, the Newspaper Enterprise Association, the Sporting News, and the United Press.
[1950 1950 Ohio State Buckeyes football team|Ohio State Buckeyes football team|Ohio State] halfback Vic Janowicz, [1950 1950 Army Cadets football team|Army Cadets football team|Army] end Dan Foldberg, and [1950 1950 Texas Longhorns football team|Texas Longhorns football team|Texas] guard Bud McFadin were the only three players to be unanimously named first-team All-Americans by all eight official selectors. Janowicz was awarded the 1950 Heisman Trophy.
