It marks the debut of Tom Cat, Jerry Mouse and Mammy Two Shoes.February 23: Pinocchio is first released, directed by Ben Sharpsteen and Hamilton Luske, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It marks the debut of Jiminy Cricket, who will appear in various other Disney-related media.
