1928 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships


The 1928 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by the Amateur Athletic Union and served as the national championships in indoor track and field for the United States.
The men's edition was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, and it took place February 25. The women's meet was held separately at the East Armory in Boston, Massachusetts, taking place March 11.
At the championships, Sabin Carr set a new world record in the pole vault, better than all previous indoor or outdoor marks. About 15,000 spectators attended the men's edition.
