Ziradei is one of the administrative divisions of Siwan district in the Indian state of Bihar.

History and people

A great freedom fighter Pandit Baidya Nath Mishra was born at Khargirampur, Ziradei. He was fighting with Dr. Rajendra for free India. He was also the part of Quit India moment. A Statues has made up of his memory near his village Khargirampur.
He was the great symbol of non-violence. He was also the member while constitution of India was building up.
He was born in 1905 and died on 9 April 2001. He met with Mahatma Gandhi to fully involve in Indian freedom movements.
Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India was from Ziradei.
