At the first day of the year 2026, she became the first ever ski jumper from China to stand on the podium at a World Cup event in Oberstdorf, where she achieved 2nd place.

Career

On 3 July 2021, Zeng began her international career at FIS Cup competition in Otepää where she took 6th place and ended the season at 42nd place in overall.
On 25 November 2021, she made her World Cup debut in Nizhny Tagil and stuck in qualifications.
On 7 January 2023 in Sapporo she made entrance to her first World Cup main competition, but didn't manage to get World Cup points in that season. That's why she took two years break from World Cup and competed only in Inter-Continental Cup in that period of time.
On 1 March 2023 she performed at FIS Nordic World Ski Championships at large hill in Planica on Bloudkova velikanka large hill where she took 39th place, ahead of Nika Prevc only.
She performed excellent in 2025–26 FIS Ski Jumping Inter-Continental Cup summer season with two wins and 3rd place in overall. This led to the return to World Cup after she left out seasons at highest level, where she continues with great results and breaking historic achievements for China ski jumping from competition to competion, at first with 6th place and then with podium.
