Yangpyeong County is a county in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Climate

Yangpyeong has the distinction of being the coldest place in South Korea. On 5 January 1981, a record low of -32.6°C was registered in the county. Yangpyeong has a monsoon-influenced humid continental climate with cold, dry winters and hot, rainy summers.
