The song was written by lead guitarist and vocalist, Pedro Suárez-Vértiz. It is divided into 5 parts, the intro, verse 1, chorus, verse 2, and the ending. The song follows a character who encountered an old childhood friend and is surprised by how much she has changed, beginning with: "Después de tiempo, me la encontré la otra vez" '', in the introduction.'' During the first verse, the protagonist remembers times of his youth with this girl.
