Wynnum State High School
Wynnum State High School is a public, co-educational secondary school located in the Brisbane suburb of Wynnum, Queensland, Australia.
As of August 2024, the principal is Sandra Quinn, and the deputy principals are Danielle Goshnick, Marina Williams, Celia Connell, and Lisa Hawkin.
History
Construction began in 1941, and the school first opened for students on 2 March 1942.In 2010, there was 709 enrolled students and 60 teachers.
Construction also recently finished on a new block of four classrooms, dubbed the Russell Building or R Block. Later, it underwent construction to include 3 other classrooms on May, 2023.
New Construction in the school has Revamped the A Block to include a new Sick Bay, Lost and Found and key code / key card doors to prevent break ins on July, 2024.
