Despite being north of the Tropic of Capricorn, Williamson has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate with a hot, wet summers and very mild, dry winters. The wettest recorded day was 25 January 2013 with of rainfall. Extreme temperatures ranged from on 4 January 2022 & 12 March 2007 to on 19 June 2018.
