Williams Lake Airport
Williams Lake Airport or Williams Lake Regional Airport is located northeast of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada.
Facilities
The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency. CBSA officers at this airport can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.The terminal building provides ticketing, baggage handling, and seating areas. In December 2025, the Williams Lake City Council awarded a lease to "On the Fly Coffee & Tea" to operate a new cafe within the terminal. The cafe project was supported through the 2025 Rural Economic Development Infrastructure Program to enhance amenities for travelers and staff at the airport. In late 2025, the city also applied for funding through the B.C. Air Access Program to support Phase II of the airport's fuel system upgrades.
The airport also serves as a base for the BC Wildfire Service's Cariboo Fire Centre. This facility is one of the busiest in the province for wildfire management and acts as a primary hub for coordinating fire suppression activities and housing provincial airtanker groups during the fire season.
