West Bontang
West Bontang is a district of the Bontang, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. As of 2024, it was inhabited by 31,634 people, and currently has a total area of 17.94 km2. Its district seat is located at the village of Kanaan.
The district was separated on 16 July 1999 from North Bontang. West Bontang shares borders with Teluk Pandan to the west and north, North Bontang to the east, and South Bontang to the south.
