Weerapon Jongjoho
Weerapon Jongjoho is a Thai boxer. He competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, winning the bronze medal in the boys' middleweight event. He also competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the middleweight event. In a round, he defeated Ivan Papakin.
Somjit Jongjohor, the flyweight champion of the 2008 Summer Olympics, is his uncle.
Even though he is a nephew and there is an uncle as a role model, he is not like Somjit. Weerapon is considered a fighter-style boxer with an aggressive fighting style.
In the 2024 Summer Olympics, he competed in the 80 kg event, he was eliminated in the first stage when he lost to Cristian Pinales from the Dominican Republic 0–5.
