The carapace and abdomen are patterned dorsally.DistributionThis species is only known from Waipoua Forest in Northland, New Zealand.Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Naturally Uncommon" with the qualifier "Range Restricted".
