Vogesella indigofera
Vogesella indigofera is a strictly aerobic, Gram-negative bacterium. V. indigofera produces a blue pigment and the colonies develop a metallic copper sheen upon extended incubation. This organism is not known to be pathogenic and is commonly found in freshwater.
