Visual search without attentional displacement

Visual search without attentional displacement is a scholarly work by Suliann Ben Hamed and Jean-René Duhamel, published in 2009 in ''Journal of Vision''. The main subjects of the publication include cognitive psychology, task, attentional blink, set, display size, visual perception, attention, face perception, contrast, rapid serial visual presentation, psychology, computer science, cognition, covertness, cued speech, executive functions, visual search, and N2pc. The authors found that, in the cueing task, subjects preferentially reported characters displayed at different locations, demonstrating that the attention spotlight actually shifted in this condition.
