Visual perception of markings

Visual perception of markings is a scholarly work, published in 1996 in ''Psychonomic Bulletin and Review''. The main subjects of the publication include perception, visual perception, multisensory integration, cognitive psychology, color psychology, and psychology. The conventional assumption that findings from the study of the visual perception of markings-in particular, of pictures-can be generalized to real-world perception is examined and found to be false.
