Visual Search and the Collapse of Categorization

Visual Search and the Collapse of Categorization is a scholarly work, published in 2005 in ''Journal of Experimental Psychology''. The main subjects of the publication include task, Linguistic relativity and the color naming debate, cognitive neuroscience of visual object recognition, multisensory integration, psychology, categorization, computer science, artificial intelligence, theory of mind, visual search, and object. The authors filled this research gap by blending the categorization and visual-search paradigms into a visual-search and categorization task in which participants searched for members of target categories in complex displays.
