He helped Krylia Sovetov finish second in the Second League during the 1991 season, winning promotion to the Soviet Top League for the following season. He played three seasons in the Top League, appearing in 62 league matches before his death in 1994.DeathTumaykin had accumulated significant personal debts and committed suicide at age 26 on 13 September 1994 by jumping out of the apartment window.
