Uptown Dubai
Uptown Dubai is a mixed-use development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is being developed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and is located adjacent to Jumeirah Lake Towers. The project includes commercial, residential, and hospitality components, with the 79-storey Uptown Tower completed in 2023.
History and development

The development's first completed structure is the Uptown Tower, a 79-storey skyscraper designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture and built by Six Construct, part of the BESIX Group. Construction began in 2019 and concluded in 2023.The building contains offices, apartments, and a hotel managed by Accor under its SO/ brand. It received LEED Gold certification and features a glass façade with over 8,500 panels.
Another component of the district is Mercer House, a residential complex developed jointly by DMCC and Ellington Properties. It includes two towers of 34 and 41 storeys with about 600 units, connected by a podium containing retail and shared facilities designed by Brewer Smith Brewer Group. Construction began in 2025 and is expected to finish in 2027.
Second phase
The next phase of development, referred to as One Uptown Place and Two Uptown Place, consists of two mid-rise buildings with about 70,000 m2 of office space and 8,000 m2 of retail and dining areas.The phase was designed by BSBG. In 2025, DMCC awarded the main works contract to Ali & Sons Contracting Company. The buildings are being developed with the goal of achieving LEED Gold certification.
