Worms University of Applied Sciences is a business and technology-oriented university of applied sciences in Worms, Germany. Around 3700 students are taught in 38 degree programmes by 74 professors and around 100 lecturers.

History
The institution was founded in 1978 as a campus of the Fachhochschule Rheinland-Pfalz, located in the cities of Ludwigshafen and Worms . It emerged from earlier post-secondary teacher-training institutions dating back to 1949, specifically the Pädagogische Akademie and its successors.In 1996, the Worms department separated from the former statewide Fachhochschule and became an independent University of Applied Sciences, known as Fachhochschule Worms . The institution adopted its current name, Hochschule Worms, in '''2015.'''
