History

UTI became popular in phonetics laboratories as ultrasound units become more portable and affordable. The Ultrafest conference assembles researchers that employ UTI. Locations have included the University of Potsdam, University of Hong Kong, Queen Margaret University, Haskins Laboratories, New York University, University of Arizona, University of British Columbia.
