UAE Super Cup


The UAE Super Cup and Charity Champions Cup in the first edition, is the curtain raiser of the United Arab Emirates football season. It is played between the previous season's Pro-League winners and President's Cup Winners.
The first edition was played on 14 September 2008.

History

From 2008 to 2021, it was known as the Etisalat Super Cup and Arabian Gulf Super Cup for sponsorship reasons.

1. Due to the cancellation of last year's tournament as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in [the United Arab Emirates|COVID-19 pandemic], the super cup was contested as a repeat between

the participants of last season's league and cup winners, Sharjah and Shabab [Al Ahli Club|Shabab Al Ahli].
