Torupilli

Torupilli is a subdistrict in the district of the Kesklinn district in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 3,729.

Name

Torupilli is named after the Torupilli Inn, which stood across the street at the intersection of Tartu Street and C. R. Jakobson Street. The inn, attested as early as 1803, had an image of a bagpiper on its sign. The name is also seen in the street name .
