Tommy McHenry

James Thomas McHenry was an Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in both the Victorian Football Association and Victorian Football League.

Family

The son of James Herbert McHenry, and Elsie Mary McHenry, née Reardon, James Thomas McHenry was born at Broomfield, Victoria on 2 June 1903.
He married Julia Winifred Voisey in 1933.
Tommy's younger brother, Allan Douglas McHenry, married Brownlow Medallist and co-player, Allan Hopkins', sister Gertrude Selina Hopkins in 1933, making Tommy and Hopkins indirect in-laws.
