Togtokhyn Altjin


Togtokhyn Altjin is a Mongolian freestyle wrestler competing in the 59 kg division. She won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships.

Career

At the 2025 World Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia, she competed in the women’s freestyle 59 kg division. In the round of 16, she defeated Kazakh Viktoriia Khusainova 9–1 and in the quarterfinals pinned German Elena Heike Brugger. In the semifinals, she lost by fall to Japan’s Sakura Onishi in 1:22. In the bronze medal match, Altjin defeated neutral athlete Anastasiia Sidelnikova 8–4 and claimed the bronze medal.
Earlier in her career, Altjin placed fifth at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championships. At cadet level, she earned silver at the 2018 Asian Cadet Wrestling Championships and bronze at the 2019 edition.
