- 1668 - Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Luz built.
- 1693 - Village settlement named "Vila da Nossa Senhora da Luz dos Pinhais."
- 1721 - Village renamed "Curitiba."

- 1854 - Curitiba becomes capital of Paraná.
