History
Threeding was founded in 2013 by Stan Partalev, Cveta-Maria Partaleva, and Tony Kiitpov. Stan and Cveta-Maria, a brother-and-sister duo, were students at the National Academy of Art in Bulgaria when they came up with the idea for the platform. Their goal was to create a marketplace where users could easily exchange 3D-printable files and contribute to the growing 3D printing industry. The team's background in art and design helped them curate a collection of 3D models that attracted global interest.Since its inception, Threeding has grown into a platform for exchanging 3D-printable models. It offers users the opportunity to set up personal storefronts and sell their designs to a global audience. As of 2024, the marketplace is home to over 15,000 models.
