Three Moon is a rural locality in the North Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. In the, Three Moon had a population of 178 people.
History
Three Moon State School opened on 24 January 1927 and closed on 22 August 1948. It was to the east of the Three Moon railway station.The final stage of the Mungar Junction to Monto railway line from Mulgildie via Three Moon to Monto opened on 15 September 1928. The last train on the railway line was in 2008 and in 2012 it was announced the line was officially closed. The locality was served by the now-abandoned Three Moon railway station.
